At Dalkeith Dental we believe a beautiful smile is a must for every patient. For some patients this requires some additional orthodontic treatment. Complex cases will require patients to attend with a Specialist Orthodontist. However, some mild or moderate cases can be managed in practice in consultation with our partner orthodontist, Dr Chris Wholley of Profile Orthodontics using clear aligners.

For this option, Dr Wholley draws up an orthodontic treatment plan, using virtual 3D digital planning, for Dr Gray to implement in practice using clear aligners. Clear aligners are almost invisible and are removeable. They offer an excellent alternative to more traditional methods such as fixed braces. They are comfortable to wear and are specially made  to custom fit your teeth. Using regular checks with Dr Gray, overseen with Dr Wholley, a series of aligners are used to gradually move your teeth into their final position. This option has been particularly popular given the increase in technology which allows remote observation by Dr Wholley and offers excellent results.
